Anyone can become a referee with The FA as long as you are aged over 14 and a resident and a resident of England.
The first stage on your referee ‘journey’ is to complete the free online Introduction to Refereeing course by clicking here.
After completion of this you will then need to attend a 1 evening and 1 full day face to face training course.
This course costs £135 and once you have completed the online training you can register your interest in attending the face-to-face training by clicking here and completing the expression of interest form
